P:ear mentors Portland’s homeless youth through education, art and recreation. They offer a safe community space off the streets and provide a series of mentorship programs to affirm the kids self worth and teach them valuable skills for life and work. We realized it wasn’t just the mentors doing the instructing, the kids had a wealth of experience to share, too. So for P:ear’s Fall Harvest benefit auction we created a short film that let the kids teach us.
